Rotator Cuff Tendinitis

Rotator Cuff Tendinitis

The rotator cuff is composed of 4 tendons that aid with movement and stability of the shoulder. An injury to the rotator cuff is very common and significantly restricts one’s ability to perform overhead activities. Untreated inflammation may lead to tearing of the tendon fibers.

Symptoms

  • Front, lateral, or posterior shoulder pain that worsens with movement of the arm above the level of the shoulder.
  • Limited shoulder range of motion.
  • May radiate down the arm to the elbow.
