Frozen Shoulder

Frozen Shoulder

Moderate to severe restrictions and range of motion accompanied by a high degree of pain most commonly caused by lack of movement for a prolonged period of time. This causes the shoulder capsule to adhere to the shoulder bones. This requires immediate attention in order to prevent permanent damage to the shoulder.

Symptoms

  • Significant pain in most planes of the shoulder range of motion (forward, backward, rotation, and lateral movement).
  • Progressive worsening of pain and range of motion over the course of a few months.
