Bicep Tendinitis

Bicep Tendinitis

The biceps tendon attaches the muscle fibers to the shoulder joint through two tendons. Injury to the standards typically will cause pain at the front of the shoulder and may radiate down in the direction of the elbow.

Symptoms

  • Anterior (front) shoulder pain.
  • Limited flexion, movement, and range of motion of the shoulder.
  • A tear of this tendon may cause a significant and visible biceps muscle deformity.
