A narrowing of the spinal canal either centrally, laterally, or both. This is secondary to conditions such as spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, or a herniated disc.
Symptoms:
Radiating pain into the arms or legs which is often worsened with spinal extension activities, such as standing and walking. This may be associated with numbness, tingling, cramping, or weakness in the arms or legs depending upon the severity of nerve root inflammation, irritation, or compression.
